FROM UNDER THE ROCK: GATE THROUGH THE PAST

Gate Through The Past was the debut album by the Italian Power Metal Group: Holy Knights. There's a lot to say about this one, mainly that its fucking KILLER all the way through. The guitar riffs and overall tone on this album is absolutely fantastic, with lots of that signature Power Metal "Gallop" throughout. The vocals here are also great, with excellent range, and are some of my favorites in the genre. It's a very mood provoking album, so I highly recommend listening to it from start to finish. My only gripe is that on "Quest of Hero's Pt. 2" there seems to be some weird autotune effect in play, and for that I'd say its the weakest track on the album, yet still having good instrumental value.
